| Chico, our 8 year old Quarter Horse gelding, has suffered a non-performance related injury to his right hind leg. His current medical bills are already thousands of dollars, and he is expected to be in rehabilitation for a year or more, due to ruptured ligaments in his hock. Chico has been a fixture of Little Buckaroo for four years. Thanks to Chico, dozens of students have learned to ride and many have gone on to win blue ribbons at local shows. He has performed to his best ability in all he’s been asked-English, Western, trail, babysitting the new riders, or teaching a more advanced student the fine points of riding. |
